‘Nashville’s’ Charles Esten To Host 2017 CMT Music Awards

“Nashville” star Charles Esten will host the 2017
CMT Music Awards, it was announced on Monday.

Charles, who plays Deacon on “Nashville,” revealed
the news on his Instagram page with a video message.

“I just found out that I will be hosting this year’s CMT
Music Awards show. I can’t believe it. It’s one of my favorites,” he said
in his video message. “It’s always a fantastic show — incredible
performers, great moments. … This is a big deal and I couldn’t be more
excited.”

The CMT Awards will feature performances from Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett. More performers and presenters will be announced in the weeks ahead.

The 2017 CMT Music Awards will air On Wednesday, June 7 at 8 PM ET/PT on CMT.
