“Millionaire Matchmaker” star Patti Stanger appears to have been mismatched.
The Bravo star announced the end of her engagement to Andy Friedman on Saturday, Tweeting, “I just ended my relationship with Andy. It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables.”
Access Hollywood caught up with Patti on Sunday night at the Breakthrough Of The Year Awards in West Hollywood, where she dished on the status of her relationship with Andy.
“It’s kind of a combination of things, he’s still my best friend, I had dinner with him last night. I think he’d like to work it out, I just don’t feel the feelings weren’t there anymore,” she told Access. “I think we were friends to start, and we’ll be friends in the end. I just feel that there’s another guy out there for me.”
Patti claimed the break-up was more her idea than his.
“I think it was more me. We have differences of opinion about a lot of things and a lot of them are about the future,” she continued, explaining that the split wasn’t just about having children. “I want a kid, but I wouldn’t have a kid without another person.”
Patti added that she would be willing to marry someone with kids.
“I’d love to be a step-mom,” she said.
