Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is no stranger to showing off plenty of skin on MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” and it turns out the ab-tastic reality star even has some professional experience in losing his clothes.
“There’s actually strippers and then there’s dudes that walk around with their shirt off and serve drinks, so I was the dude with the shirt off,” The Situation told Jay Leno when asked rumors of his stripping past when he stopped by the “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Tuesday.
Most nights the reality star said he handed out drinks, but there was one particular night where he couldn’t resist showing off his hours of hard work in the gym.
“You want me to be honest? You know I did try it once. I really didn’t like it though,” he continued, “I really didn’t like the costume. You know? The outfit… my birthday is on the Fourth of July so they had some like, I don’t know if I was Uncle Sam, but it was some sort of Uncle Sam with a thong and I wasn’t really feeling it.”
As for his new gig on “Dancing with the Stars,” he’s “feeling it” more than his patriotic half-naked past.
“I’ll be honest with you I love the challenge, I love the people,” he told Jay. “I love the camera, but at the same time I’ll be honest with you, it’s pretty hard.”
“Dancing with the Stars” Season 11 premieres on ABC on September 20 at 8 PM.
