Growing up on the small screen and starring on “The Cosby Show” was a little tough for Malcolm-Jamal Warner when it came to his crushes!
The actor, now 42, stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday where he revealed he once had a crush on one of his co-stars.
“Early on, it was Lisa [Bonet]” he said of the actress, who played his onscreen sister.

His crush was due to their similar ages.
“Just because we were so close in age,” he said of Lisa, who played Denise Huxtable on the classic sitcom.
He might have been smitten with Lisa, but Malcolm-Jamal’s game wasn’t all that back then.

“But, I never had a shot,” he told Billy and Kit with a laugh. “At 13, 14, you know when you have a shot or not – even at that age.”
And despite his feelings, the actor and Lisa – who is married to former “Game of Thrones” star Jason Momoa – are on good terms these days.
“Lisa and I have been very cool [over the years]. But, I’m very cool with everybody because we all bonded in this unique experience. That bond, no matter how much time goes by, we’ll always have that bond,” he said.
Catch Malcolm-Jamal on “Major Crimes,” Mondays at 9/8c on TNT.
