Redfoo and SkyBlu of LMFAO, who performed with Madonna during Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show, say the pop queen was phenomenal to work with.
“She just gave one of the most inspirational speeches I’ve ever heard… before we got out there. And if the New England Patriots got that speech, they probably would have won today!” SkyBlu told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis after their rocking performance.
“She was just giving thanks for everything that was going on and just said no matter what… we worked really hard for this moment and we’re just going to have fun, kill it, and we did,” SkyBlu continued.
LMFAO’s other half, Redfoo, told Shaun he was happy to see their music uniting the crowd.
“It brings people together and that’s what the Super Bowl represents, people coming together, celebrating… the goal is to make people happy and bring them together,” he explained. “Kids, parent, all shuffling, everybody’s wiggling!”
As for their stellar performance, they said it was all Madonna’s doing.
“She had the master plan… she’s just a master, a genius!” Redfoo said. “It’s the magical Madonna!”
