“Inferno” director Matthew Wilder reportedly says he has a backup plan if Lindsay Lohan is unable to star in the Linda Lovelace porn biopic.
Lindsay ventured out of rehab – where she will be receiving treatment until at least until January 3, 2011 – over the weekend, but reportedly did not meet with the “Inferno” team.
“I can confirm that we did not see Lindsay Lohan over the weekend,” Matthew told Radar Online. “You know we have been through a lot with this project, and although she is still our number one choice – we do have a Plan B if she cannot film ‘Inferno.’”
The director claimed to have interest from other starlets.
“And actually we have had a great response from other people who really want the part too,” he continued. “But we will wait until Lindsay has fulfilled all of her rehab and court obligations to see if she will be able to take her place as we had originally planned.”
Lindsay is currently receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
