Lauren Conrad has made it as an author again.
The former “Hills” reality starlet just had her second novel, “Sweet Little Lies,” top the New York Times bestseller list.
“It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around,” the blonde beauty told People. “All the characters have become like my friends now.”
The impressive achievement follows the success of Lauren’s first book, “L.A. Candy,” which spent several weeks atop the bestseller list in 2009.
Lauren revealed she wrote her latest best seller from the comfort of her pillows.
“I just sat in bed writing and it was the best process,” she said. “Who gets to work from home in their PJ’s?”
Since her book was released on February 2, Lauren has been on tour, signing the novel at a host of stores around the country.
On Friday, she will sign at Tattered Cover, in Highlands Ranch, Colo.; she will stop at Copperfield’s Books on February 17 in Petaluma, Calif., and Barnes and Noble in Los Angeles on February 18.
