Lady Gaga’s New Gig: Polaroid Creative Director & Inventor

Lady Gaga is hoping everyone still wants to shake it like a Polaroid!

According to People, the singer will take on the role of creative director and inventor of specialty products for the instant-photography brand Polaroid.

“The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion /technology /photography innovation – blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era – and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand,” the 23-year-old said in a statement.

Adding, “Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer and to – as my father puts it – finally, have a real job.”

The announcement was made this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where the pop star is expected to make an appearance on Thursday.

The singer will also reportedly be making appearances in the company’s marketing campaigns.

A rep for Polaroid told The Wall Street Journal that Gaga will create “imaging products” for both instant and digital photography products.
