Kevin Federline Taken To Hospital After Suffering Chest Pains On Aussie Weight Loss Show

Kevin Federline was taken to a hospital in Australia on Sunday after complaining of chest pains while competing on weight loss reality show, “Excess Baggage,” the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, however, did not have a heart attack, a spokesman for Channel Nine, which airs “Excess Baggage,” told the newspaper.

According to the spokesman, the reality star collapsed while filming the show, after he completed a challenge with the Greater Western Sydney Australian Football League team.

The challenge involved running and catching.

The paper reported that Federline was treated for symptoms of minor cardiac arrest before he was taken to an area hospital, where, after an ECG, it was determined he had not had a heart attack.

Another spokesperson for Channel Nine said when Federline is released, a decision would be made about whether he will continue participating in the show.

According to the SMH, this isn’t the first time K-Fed has had a medical situation on set. Earlier in the season, the former backup dancer was hospitalized with heat exhaustion when the cast filmed in the Kimberley, a wilderness area in Western Australia.

“Excess Baggage” is Federline’s second weight-loss reality show. He was previously on VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club.”
