Kelly Osbourne Leaves ‘Fashion Police’ On E!

Kelly Osbourne has left “Fashion Police.”

“Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s ‘Fashion Police’ to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers,” E! said in a statement on Friday.

The reality star and fashion commentator had threatened to quit the show earlier in the week, following Giuliana Rancic’s remarks about Zendaya Coleman’s hair at the Oscars.

“Im giving everyone involved 24 hours to make it right or the world will hear how I really feel. contactually Im not allowed to speak,” Kelly Tweeted on February 24, after controversy broke out over Rancic’s comments.

“I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS IM SEREIOULSY QUESTIONONIG STAYING ON THE SHOW!” Osbourne also Tweeted.

Rancic apologized on Twitter and on air for her comments about Coleman. Coleman then wrote on social media that she appreciated Rancic’s apology.

“It takes a strong women to apologize & makes a forgiving women even stronger! #ThisTooShallPass,” Osbourne Tweeted on February 25.

According to E!, “no decisions have been made” about Osbourne’s replacement.
