At age 50, Kathy Griffin is doing all she can to support U.S. Troops – including showing off her fit physique in a military-themed bikini.
The outspoken comedienne played host at the “VH1 Divas Salute the Troops” concert taping on Friday evening in Miramar, Calif., where she strutted her sexy stuff in a camouflage bikini — complete with a belt made of bullets.
In addition to Kathy’s flawless figure, the musical special (airing on Sunday) will feature performances by rapper Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson, country duo Sugarland, Paramore and popstar Katy Perry – who thrilled the fiery redhead with a stunning compliment.
“I swear, 1st thing [Katy] said ‘Your [sic] my idol’ Wha???” Kathy Tweeted on Friday, of meeting the “Fireworks” singer. “Watch out @Cher:),” Kathy added.
The “My Life on the D List” star was also taken with the new Mrs. Russell Brand’s vocal abilities, in addition to her kindness.
“SO sweet,” Kathy Tweeted on Saturday, when asked about Katy’s amicability by a Twitter fan.
“Sang her hott a** off NO lip syncing, & after show said ‘let’s get a DRINK:)’ ” Kathy added.
