Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out for their second day of engagements during the royal couple’s trip to Ireland on Wednesday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are spending the day focusing on causes near and dear to their hearts—namely, mental health and sustainable agriculture.
Jigsaw are working hard to spread the message of the importance of having ‘One Good Adult’ in a young person’s life, and the positive benefits this can have on their mental health.

The couple opted for a business-casual dress code for the day, with Kate donning a recycled double-breasted white Reiss coat which she’s reportedly had for the last 13 years. She paired the coat with a polka dotted top and black skinny jeans. Will matched his wife’s proper-yet-casual style as he ditched a tie and opted for a green sweater over a blue button down.
Will and Kate’s first stop of the day was to Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health. The couple, who have been longtime mental health support advocates, toured the center and viewed artwork from the young people who have received help from Jigsaw.
The Kensington Royal Twitter account shared some sweet moments from the start of the tour.
In conversation with community campaigners, teachers, parents and coaches on the impact of @JigsawYMH — which provides vital support to young people across a range of one-to-one, community, school and online services #RoyalVisitIreland pic.twitter.com/Ml4LgwjB74

Jigsaw’s official Twitter account shared video of the scores of fans waiting outside for the royal couple, as well as Will and Kate visiting the center itself.
Not your average day at the office.
Great to have our work supported today #RoyalVisitIreland https://t.co/QittbNvW8k— JigsawYMH (@JigsawYMH) March 4, 2020
After greeting well-wishers outside the center, the Duke and Duchess took off their coats and sipped warm beverages as they listened to teachers and parents talk about the work Jigsaw does for the community.
The 3-day tour is the royal couple’s first official visit to Ireland in nearly a decade.
The Duke and Duchess spent their first day in Ireland visiting with the country’s President. Prince William even showed some affection for his wife by placing his hand on her back!
Fortunately, the busy couple got to relax a bit on Tuesday evening at a fun event. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge toasted Irish guards at the Guinness Storehouse’s Gravity Bar in Dublin, which marked the first evening event of the tour. Kate and Will each enjoyed a taste of the country’s signature stout, and William joked about following in grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s pint-pouring footsteps. Meanwhile, Kate sipped like a pro and dazzled in a shimmering emerald dress.
