Cindy Crawford’s daughter is expanding her on-camera resume.
Kaia Gerber’s acting debut in the indie film “Sister
Cities” will make its world television premiere September 17 on Lifetime,
the network announced on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old’s face is already famous to fashion fans who
have watched her follow in her supermodel mom’s footsteps, but “Sister
Cities” marks Kaia’s first foray onto the small – and big – screen.

Based on the acclaimed stage play, “Sister Cities”
chronicles four estranged sisters who reunite following their mother’s death
and uncover a potentially devastating family secret. The movie first premiered
at Michael Moore’s Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan at a sold-out
screening last month.
Kaia co-stars alongside Amy Smart, Jacki Weaver, Stana
Katic, Michelle Trachtenberg, Troian Bellisario, Jess Weixler, Tom Everett
Scott and Alfred Molina. Her casting in the project was revealed last summer.
“Sister Cities” airs September 17 at 8 PM ET/PT on
Lifetime.
