Josh Duhamel wasn’t about to sit back and let the stuntmen on the set of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” have all the fun.
Access Hollywood caught up with the handsome actor at the launch of Reebok’s RealFlex in New York City on Thursday, where he talked about wanting to do as many stunts as he could while filming the blockbuster, adding that sometimes it took some persuading.
“I did as much as they would let me… But you do try to convince them to do whatever ones they’ll let you do” he told Access.
Apparently, his nudging paid off, as Josh revealed that he and his “Transformers” co-star, Shia LaBeouf, got to partake in some crazy stunts together.
“Shia and I got to do one that was pretty crazy where they tied us to these clips and they yank you straight up in the air as if you’re getting pulled up by one of the robots” he explained.
Josh revealed that doing the stunts was both scary and exhilarating and that it was one of his most memorable moments of working on the film.
“The first time [Shia] was like, ‘Why did we try to talk them into doing this?’ But it was fun. It was one of those moments of shooting that movie that I won’t forget,” he told Access.
When asked about a possible fourth “Transformers” film, Josh remained mum, adding, “I have no idea.”
“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” hits the big screen on July 1.
