John Mayer: ‘I’ve Never Really Gotten Over’ Jennifer Aniston

John Mayer is letting it all hang out in a racy new interview with Rolling Stone, where the singer dishes on his slew of celebrity ex-girlfriends, sex life and rumors about his sexuality.

The singer said his multiple breakups with Jennifer Aniston (mostly recently in 2009) are still painful.

“I’ve never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life,” the 32-year-old singer told Rolling Stone in their latest issue. “I have this weird feeling, a pride thing, for the people I’ve had relationships with. What would I be saying to Jen, who I think is f***ing fantastic, if I said to her, ‘I don’t dislike you. In fact, I like you extremely well. But I have to back out of this because it doesn’t arc over the horizon. This is not where I see myself for the rest of my life, this is not my ideal destiny.’”

And his relationship with Jen isn’t his only celebrity tryst that has caused him pain –the attention he received dating Jessica Simpson was also taxing on John.

“I got so many tension headaches from magazine covers that it felt like a threat,” he told the mag of his time with the pop singer.

The notorious ladies man told the mag that he’s looking forward to settling down – one day.

“I’ll be happy when I close out this life-partner thing. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt attached,” he explained. “Think of how much mental capacity I’m using to meet the right person so I can stop giving a f*** about it.”

But according to John, he has trouble not thinking about past relationships when he’s with a new woman.

“All I want to do now is [have sex with] the girls I’ve already [had sex with], because I can’t fathom explaining myself to somebody who can’t believe I’d be interested in them,” the singer told the mag. “I’m too freaked out to meet anybody else.”

As for rumor’s that he’s bisexual, the singer says he can appreciate a handsome man – but he’s never been intimate with a guy.

“I don’t care about anything other than energy. That’s why people think, ‘Is he bi? Is he that?’ I’ve never slept with a man. But I get it. I’ve seen pictures of men on the Internet that are sexier than pictures of most women,” he noted.

Following the release of his interview, John questioned his potential as a boyfriend, Tweeting, “Just read my Rolling Stone cover article. I’m still not sure if I would want to
