Former boy bander and “Dancing with the Stars” alum Joey Fatone is a dad, again.
Joey and wife Kelly welcomed their second child – a daughter – on Monday.
Kloey Alexandra Fatone was born on Monday in Orlando, Fla., weighing in at 5 lbs., 8 oz.
“Kloey’s so small,” Joey told People. “She looks like a little doll. But she’s healthy and doing just fine.”
The couple also has an 8-year-old daughter, Briahna.
And as it turns out, naming the newest addition to the family was a group effort.
Kloey is a combination of Joey and Kelly’s names, while big sis Briahna picked out the middle name Alexandra, the former *NSYNC singer noted.
However, it wasn’t an easy pregnancy for Kelly, who was hospitalized after experiencing chronic fatigue.
Upon further examination, doctors discovered blood clots in her lungs.
“It was life and death,” Joey told People.
After a 12-day stay in the hospital, including two days in the Intensive Care Unit, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Methylene-Tetra-Hydro-Folate-Reductase (MTHFR), which can cause certain birth defects in babies, including Down’s Syndrome.
But after inducing labor two weeks prior to her due date over concerns for Kelly’s health, Joey said his wife and his new daughter are both doing just fine.
“I’m just so happy that everyone’s healthy,” Joey added. “I’m thrilled.”
