Jimmy Fallon: Justin Timberlake & I Will Do At Least One SNL Sketch Together

Never fear, JT and Fallon fans – the dynamic duo is back!

Jimmy Fallon, who will return to “Saturday Night Live” to host this weekend (with Justin Timberlake as musical guest), says the pair will indeed perform a sketch together.

“We don’t know how many sketches we’re gonna do together yet – it’s never decided until probably Saturday, right before we go like at 11:30 – but it’s gonna be definitely one,” Jimmy revealed to Access Hollywood during “SNL” rehearsal on Tuesday in New York City, adding that their famed “Barry Gibb Talk Show” sketch may resurface. “He’s doing two songs and then we’ll see where we end up from there.

“But he’s always game to do anything else and he’s just the nicest guy in the world,” he continued. “So I think it’s gonna be a fun, fun show.”

Jimmy said he and the “Take Back The Night” singer won’t have much time to rehearse, as JT won’t arrive in NYC until Friday night (after putting on a concert) – but he’s not worried about pulling something off.

“You know Justin Timberlake – you can’t beat that guy! He’s a talented guy,” he said. “We don’t have that much time to rehearse, but he’s a magician, so I think it’ll work.”

The “SNL” alum-turned-late night host may also take a turn back at the Weekend Update desk.

“I miss the Weekend Update desk… I’m gonna try to maybe tie Seth [Meyers] to a chair or something backstage and sneak my way on Weekend Update,” he joked. “But I’ll be out there lonely without Tina [Fey]… we’ll see what happens.”

No matter what goes down, Jimmy promises fans will not be disappointed.

“It’s gonna be fun this week,” he said. “I’m telling you, I’ll guarantee you it’s gonna be a good show.”
