Jeremy London Claims He Was Kidnapped At Gunpoint, Forced To Take Drugs

Jeremy London claims he was held at gunpoint for hours last Thursday and forced to buy alcohol and take illicit drugs, the “Party of Five” and “7th Heaven” star told police.

London said he was attempting to change a flat tire on his vehicle on Thursday afternoon when several men stopped to help him, the Palm Springs Police Department said in a press release.

According to authorities, London claimed he was then held at gunpoint in his car.

The press release alleges the gunman forced London to drive to various locations throughout the city, purchase alcohol and use illicit drugs . According to the release, he was eventually able to escape the car and contact police.

Police said a suspect, Brandon Adams, was arrested on Friday, June 11 for kidnapping, possession of stolen property and vehicle theft in connection with the case and has been charged with those crimes as well as carjacking and robbery.

“Thankfully, Jeremy London survived his terrorizing ordeal in Palm Springs last week,” a rep for London, Dominic Friesen, said in a statement to Access. “Although understandably shaken and scared, he is currently working closely with law enforcement as they investigate the horrific turn of events. Jeremy is spending quality time in an undisclosed location with family and friends, and appreciates the overwhelming support from his fans.”

London sobered up last year after a long history of drug use, telling People in May that he had smoked marijuana, taken Ecstasy and heroin and used prescription pills after becoming a Hollywood star in the early ‘90s.

“I’m learning,” he told the mag at the time. “It’s much easier to deal with life with a clear head.”
