Jenny McCarthy recently admitted that she and boyfriend Jim Carrey have no plans to walk down the aisle, but she told the ladies on “The View” this morning that the actual thought of marriage recently gave her a nightmare.
“I had a dream last night that I left him at the altar… because I don’t want to get married,” Jenny told “The View” panel on Tuesday’s show.
But the actress, who is gearing up for the December 13 premiere on ABC Family of her new film, “Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe,” said she could reconsider the idea at some point down the line.
“I think we are married we don’t need a piece of paper. Maybe one day when we’re 80 and I need the tax write-off [we’ll tie the knot],” Jenny laughed.
Although marriage is out for now, Jenny is very, very happy.
“I’m madly in love with him,” she said of the funny superstar. “He’s the greatest guy.”
In related news, Jenny recently told Access she is thrilled she is about to become a grandmother as Jim’s daughter, Jane, is pregnant with her first child.
“I’m soon to be a grandma!” she said. “So that’s interesting. 37 [years old], I get to be called ‘Grandma.’”
However, the youthful star said she doesn’t mind the title.
“I’m going to try to keep in shape and youthful, so ‘Grandma’ sounds pretty good,” she said.
