If you got it, flaunt it! Jamie Lee Curtis wasn’t afraid to go full glam for the Golden Globes once again.
The Hollywood legend left jaws on the floor with her red carpet look at last weekend’s award show, baring her décolletage in a plunging yellow gown that proved she’s looking and feeling better than ever.
Jamie Lee dished on the Alex Perry number during a recent appearance on “Today,” telling hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager that after months of embracing pandemic-friendly casual garments she was ready to kick things up a notch.
“You know, I’m 62 years old, and I’ve been wearing black leggings for a year,” the “Knives Out” star said. “And so the truth of the matter is, I’m an actress, and I was privileged to be asked to present at the Golden Globes, and I decided to suit up and show up.”
The bold ensemble turned heads not only for its daring silhouette but also its bright yellow hue, a color choice which Jamie Lee teased paired perfectly with the open neckline.
“You know, once in a while, everybody needs to come out, get a little sunshine,” she joked of putting her cleavage on display. “They are now well-fed. They are back in the stable. They don’t need to come out for another five years.”
The actress also noted that the dress was a literal and figurative bright spot during an unprecedented and often challenging time.
“There is something about wearing sunshine during this moment, when we have all been denied the freedom that sunshine and the joy of sunshine and happiness, and a little glitz and glamour,” she added.
This wasn’t the first time Jamie Lee made headlines for her killer fashion instinct. Earlier this month, she reflected on her iconic all-white Globes look from the 2019 show and told Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover that she had something special in mind for this year’s ceremony.
“I do live in Southern California and January in Southern California is so beautiful because the air is clear and the sun is shining bright. That’s all I’m going to say to you. That’s my hint,” she smiled.
Way to come through, Jamie Lee!
