Call it a no-brainer. The CW has renewed “iZombie” for Season 2.
The delightful drama stars Rose McIver as Liv Moore, a young woman who ditches her promising career as a doctor to work in a morgue after she’s turned into a zombie during a boat party.
The show, from creators Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero, and based on the DC Comics’ Vertigo comic book series of the same name, also stars Rahul Kohli as Liv’s morgue partner in crime, Dr. Ravi.

Malcolm Goodwin plays Clive, a detective who thinks Liv’s information about cases comes from her psychic abilities (when it’s really down to her eating brains of the victims). Robert Buckely plays her ex-fiance, Major, and David Anders stars as fellow zombie Blaine DeBeers, who turned Liv.
“iZombie” continues Tuesdays at 9/8c through June 9 on The CW.
