Iggy Azalea is speaking out after a frightening incident at her latest concert.

The rapper took to social media and addressed reports that one of her backup dancers suffered a seizure onstage during Thursday night’s show in Rio de Janeiro.

Iggy had come under fire for continuing to perform amid the young woman’s medical scare, but clarified that she didn’t realize how serious the situation was at first.

“I thought she had just fallen/twisted her ankle,” the Aussie wrote on her Instagram story, noting that her explanation “may sound harsh.”

“You keep singing until the music stops & ask for a medic, which is what I did,” Iggy continued, adding that she and her crew are “all really shaken up by what happened.”

Brazilian news video shared on Twitter showed the woman lying down on stage and convulsing as other dancers came to her aid. Iggy then called for medical assistance before resuming her hit track “Black Widow.”

Luckily, Iggy assured her followers that the dancer is expected to make a full recovery.

“She is backstage feeling much better,” she wrote, listing “the lights & heat” as the catalyst for the seizure.

The hitmaker went on to share disapproval over how some of the harrowing footage has been repurposed across the internet, and encouraged people to think about the consequences of joking about such matters.

“Someone having a seizure isn’t funny, it’s really scary!” she wrote. “So I hope my fans do not repost some of the memes I’m seeing about my dancer.”
