Saying goodbye isn’t easy for anyone, and the “Hunger
Games” cast is no exception.
“Mockingjay Part 2,” the final film in the
blockbuster franchise, is heading to Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD on March 22, and Access
Hollywood has an exclusive sneak peek at the special features – including behind-the-scenes
footage with the close-knit stars as they discuss their emotional farewell.
In one clip, leading lady Jennifer Lawrence reveals how she and
her fellow “Hunger Games” actors coped with the end of the series.
According to the Oscar winner, safety in numbers was a key
strategy.
“Josh [Hutcherson] and Liam [Hemsworth] and Woody [Harrelson]
and I just held each other for like two hours after the wrap party,” she
says. “We just all cuddled like puppies and held each other. It was
sad.”

Despite the melancholy atmosphere, Josh says fans can rest
easy knowing the “Hunger Games” legacy will remain intact off-screen.
After spending “12 hours a day for nine months”
together, the gang’s bond will “continue on for a really long time,”
he says.
