Hip Hop has lost another great. Heavy D has died at the age of 44.
On Tuesday, a rep for the rap star confirmed the news to Access Hollywood.
While his death investigation is in the preliminary stages, a rep for the Coroner’s Office told NBC News that the rap star’s passing appears to be of natural causes.
