
Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel has one of the most gorgeous bodies on the planet. The South African stunner was recently voted #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list. And, of course, the moment she struts down the VS runway in barely there lingerie you can feel men’s hearts racing.
Yet, the humble model, who grew up on a farm, admits to Healthy Hollywood that she does have to work for her heavenly curves.
“There is no secret. It is hard work and I work out 3 days a week and really eat really clean food and lead a healthy lifestyle,” Candice says.
Candice and all the Victoria’s Secret models are getting ready for the upcoming VS Runway show, which takes place in London on December 2. And, the rest of us can get a glimpse of the gals on December 9, when it airs on CBS.
Candice admits the month before the big show she does amp up her training, adding, “I try and work out more than I do and I add a lot more protein into my diet. The week before the show is the craziest because every day we are working out sometimes twice a day.”
But, don’t expect to find her sweating it out at the gym. She prefers resistance training or doing a work out at the beach.
“I like to work out slowly and feel muscles changing and feel the burn rather than running 5 miles,” Candice adds.
Consistency and inspiration are both key to her healthy living regimen, noting, “The tip to keeping fit is finding something that inspires you. For me, I really feel the difference when I’m eating healthy and leading a healthy life. So that’s my inspiration to continue to work out and once you start the results are what inspire you.”
