Halle Berry To Steal Away In ‘Payne’

Halle Berry will star in “Who Is Doris Payne?” the story of a real-life jewel thief whose career lasted for five decades, according to Variety.

The film is unlikely to be a high-stakes thriller – Payne stole hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of diamond rings over the years from stores across the globe by simply trying items on and charming store clerks before slipping out with the jewelry, according to The Associated Press.

The star herself will be in stores in March via her new fragrance, “Halle.”
