“Glee” star Chord Overstreet is heading back to school on the small screen this September, but this time, he’ll be commandeering the classroom.
The 22-year-old actor will guest star on the ABC sitcom, “The Middle,” as Ralph Wilkerson, Brick Heck’s [played by Atticus Shaffer] young, innovative fourth grade teacher, whose teaching methods don’t mesh with Frankie and Mike’s [Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn] parenting style.
And Chord isn’t the only guest star to join the comedy’s upcoming third season — former “Everybody Loves Raymond” star Ray Romano will be featured on “The Middle’s” Season 3 premiere, airing on September 21.
In July, it was announced that the actor will not return to “Glee” as a series regular in Season 3 of the hit FOX series, but may return as a guest star from time to time.
Catch Chord on “The Middle” when his episode airs on September 28 on ABC.
