“Ghostbusters” reboot director Paul Feig revealed he is taking inspiration from “The Walking Dead” for his upcoming film.

“I’m very inspired by this show, because what I love is how they play with the danger, they play with the scariness, but also the idea that it’s always about gauntlet running,” the director said as he sat on the “Talking Dead” couch on Sunday night.

“And that’s something — an element I want to bring to this ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot is just having to get through these various obstacles that are supernatural and all that,” he continued. “So I really — I feed off of ‘The Walking Dead.'”

Paul sat on Chris Hardwick’s “Talking Dead” panel Sunday evening alongside Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne on “TWD.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are set to lead the reboot of the classic 1980s film, with Paul directing.
