George Lucas ‘Not Really’ Curious About J.J. Abrams’ Take On ‘Star Wars’

Millions of fans went full-on Tusken Raider after the release of the “Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens” teaser trailer — “Star Wars” creator George Lucas, not so much.

The director was asked by Page Six if he was curious about new director J.J. Abrams’ take on the beloved franchise and George reportedly replied, “Not really.”

Before we say, “We’ve got a bad feeling about this,” the filmmaker also explained that he has yet to see the 88-second teaser, which has been viewed over 100 million times.

“I don’t know anything about it. I haven’t seen it yet,” he reportedly told Page Six. “Because it’s not in the movie theater. I like going to the movies and watching the whole thing there.”

But before you start imaging Lucas protesting “The Force Awakens” like a resident of Naboo calling out the Trade Federation, Lucas said he will see the new movie – so power down your blaster!

“I plan to see it when it’s released,” he added.
