British prosecutors say they are charging singer and former U.K. “X Factor” judge Tulisa Contostavlos for allegedly helping supply cocaine to an undercover journalist.
Contostavlos, 25, was arrested in June over allegations of supplying hard drugs after the Sun tabloid ran a story claiming she had acted as a go-between in a deal to sell cocaine.
Prosecutor Baljit Ubhey said Monday that police will charge Contostavlos with “being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.” Contostavlos will appear at London’s Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Dec. 19.
She rose to fame with London group N-Dubz and — after a stint judging the U.K. talent show “X Factor” — was replaced by Sharon Osbourne.
