Another role in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie has been filled.
According to Deadline, Victor Rasuk will play Jose, the aspiring photographer who has a crush on his longtime friend, Anastasia Steele (who will be played by Dakota Johnson).
“Fifty Shades” author E L James confirmed the casting news on Thursday, by re-Tweeting a link to the story.
Rasuk is best known for playing Cameron “Cam” Calderon on HBO’s “How to Make It in America,” and will soon be seen in the upcoming “Godzilla” reboot alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who is married to “Fifty Shades” director Sam Taylor-Johnson).
In related “Fifty Shades” movie news, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the film’s production start date has been pushed back due to the last minute entrance of Jamie Dornan, who has replaced Charlie Hunnam in the role of Christian Grey.
The movie had initially been scheduled to begin production in early November, but will now commence on December 2, THR reported, which could affect the film’s slated theatrical release date of August 1, 2014.
