Sigourney Weaver in ‘Ghostbusters’ (Sony)
The all-female “Ghostbusters” remake has been cast, with Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon suiting up.
If we’re gender-switching all roles in the new version, we think it’s only fair that Sigourney Weaver’s Dana Barrett be recast with some hot man meat.
Here are AccessHollywood.com’s top 5 picks for who should fill Dana’s heels:
1) Jon Hamm: The “Mad Men” hunk is not only super easy on the eyes, but was hilarious in “Bridesmaids” alongside Kristen (a film also directed by new “Ghostbusters” helmer Paul Feig).

2) Henry Cavill: Let’s be honest, we just want to see this Man of Steel in literally anything.

3) Channing Tatum: A loop of shirtless Channing in “Magic Mike” plays on repeat in our minds as it is – is there any way Dana would wear chaps and a bowtie? And he can easily handle that whole transformation into a dog thing (we’ve seen him collared and leashed in “This Is The End”).

4) Chris Hemsworth: If there’s anyone we’d ever want to writhe around and levitate over our bed, it’d be this Sexiest Man Alive. Plus, we already know he can pull off the sci-fi/fantasy genres, thanks to Thor.

5) Zac Efron: It’s pretty standard to see the 27-year-old shirtless in nearly every role now, so for continuity’s sake, if Zac were cast in “Ghostbusters,” we’d want to see him sans shirt at least 75 percent of the film. We’re pretty sure Zac could fend off ghosts with his abs on display, and we’d definitely enjoy watching him try.

And for the eccentric Janine (originally played by Annie Potts), Billy Eichner gets our casting vote.
