Enrique Iglesias Wants Marriage & Kids

Enrique Iglesias has yet to settle down, but that doesn’t mean the 38-year-old singer doesn’t plan to get married one day.

“I’ve said in many of my interviews that I don’t think [marriage] will make me any happier, and I’m not against it by any means,” Enrique told Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez in a new interview.

And the Latin superstar – whose new album, “Sex and Love” dropped on March 14 – is game for fatherhood when the time is right as well.

“And kids, yeah, at some point I would,” he said. “Hopefully the day I have kids I’ll just lay back a bit and not travel as much and be touring constantly. I don’t want to be on the road for six months, eight months, come back and not recognize my own child.

“I already have a tough time with my dogs leaving my house and then coming back you know, a month later, and it’s always sad whenever I leave my house,” he continued. “Although, I have made a rule in the past few years that I try to be not out on the road more than 15 days in a row. That’s important to me. I need that balance in my life.”

As for whether he’d ever follow in Shakira and J.Lo’s footsteps and judge a reality singing competition show, the singer (who has already been asked to be a coach on “The Voice,” but had to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts) said he definitely would.

“I would do it,” he said. “Yeah, if it didn’t conflict with my schedule I would. I would love to.”
