If Cookie has anything to say about it, Adam Rodriguez might be putting his “Magic Mike” skill set to use on “Empire.”
Access Hollywood has confirmed that the actor, also known for his work on “CSI: Miami,” is heading to Season 2 of the Fox hit series.
Adam landed the recurring role of Laz Delgado, a concert promoter who can hustle and smooth talk and naturally takes an interest in Taraji P. Henson’s Cookie.

The actor joins a slew of big names joining the series in its second season, including Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and Ne-Yo.
First up, Adam is back to taking it off on the big screen alongside Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello in the “Magic Mike” sequel, which grinds and thrusts back into theaters on July 1.
“Empire” returns on September 23 at 9 PM ET/PT.
