Donald Trump Says He Was ‘Shot With a Bullet’ That Pierced His Right Ear

Former President Donald Trump has broken his silence following shots being fired in an apparent assinatation attempt at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Trump was rushed off stage and could be seen with blood on the side of his head and ear but is reportedly safe and fine, The Secret Service confirmed in a post on X and that he is currently being “checked out at a local medical facility.”

“I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” he wrote in a message on his Truth social account.

One spectator from the rally is dead and two other people are in serious condition. The shooter is dead. Trump thanked the Secret Service and law enforcement writing, “most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.”

Adding, “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead.”

The Secret Service says that the incident currently under investigation and the Secret Service has notified the FBI.

President Joe Biden released a statement and spoke on camera about the shooting, calling it “sick,” and said he hopes to speak with Trump this evening. When he was asked by a reporter if it was an assassination attempt, Biden said, “I have an opinion, but I don’t have all the facts.”
