Diana Ross’ son is headed to West Beverly.
Evan Ross, 21, is the newest member of The CW’s “90210,” Access Hollywood has confirmed with the network.
Evan is set to play a character named Charlie, a student who finds himself in a love entanglement with two of the show’s current cast, The CW revealed. TV Guide also confirmed the news.
According to Fancast, which first reported the news, Charlie makes a big impression on Annie, the character played by Shenae Grimes.
He’ll make his entrance in episode 2 of the upcoming season, which begins shooting next week, Access has learned.
Evan’s previous acting history includes a guest role on “Girlfriends” in 2008, the show which starred another of Diana’s children — Tracee Ellis Ross. He also had a role in the Hilary Duff and Melissa Leo film, “According to Greta,” which was released in 2009, and the 2007 movie “Pride” alongside Terrence Howard and the late Bernie Mac.
Evan is also a musician.
