David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are throwing it back for a milestone occasion!
The couple revisited the now-iconic purple satin outfits they sported for their 1999 wedding reception, showing off the ensembles once again for a new Instagram photo in honor of their 25th anniversary on July 4.
“Look what we found…” their joint caption read, alongside a purple heart and sweat smile emojis.
Though it was unclear if the pair had truly dusted off the exact same Antonio Berardi garments or had replicas made, fans immediately recognized the looks and flooded the comment section with gratitude for the trip down memory lane.
The soccer icon and the former Spice Girl also sat on thrones for the regal snap – another visual reminder of their big day – prompting multiple followers to joke that they were ready for a Beckham-led monarchy.
“Going to tell my kids these are the Queen and King of England,” one teased.
“That’s my royal family,” another quipped.
Dedicated longtime fans likely remember the Beckhams’ lavish nuptials, which took place at an Irish castle with a then-4-month-old Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, David and Victoria’s oldest son, also in attendance.
The spouses have previously shared loving tributes to the event, with the fashion designer even marking their anniversary last year with a video of her and David in their purple formal wear cutting into their unique cake with a sword.
In David’s 2023 Netflix documentary “Beckham,” Victoria also noted that she and the athlete were aware of the attention surrounding their extravagant wedding but she still treasures how true to themselves they were despite any raised eyebrows.
“We weren’t worried about what people were going to say. I mean, Christ, how lovely to be that way when you just don’t really care, you just want to express yourselves,” she said.
