New “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Marissa Jaret Winokur is expecting her first child, People reported.
Marissa is expecting the child, along with husband Judah Miller, via a surrogate mother.
The 35-year-old actress is a cervical cancer survivor.
The pregnancy is five months along, according to People.
“[The year] 2008 is beginning to be the best year of my life,” Winokur told People. “After cancer I never thought I’d have a baby. This is truly the best time of my life.”
The former “Hairspray” star made her “Dancing With the Stars” debut on Tuesday. But as far as she’s concerned, the news of the baby is better than any trophy ever could be.
“I don’t care if I win or lose ‘Dancing With the Stars’ because I know when the show is over I will have the best prize – a baby,” Winokur added.
