Constance Zimmer has lined up a new television gig that will pit her opposite Clark Gregg’s Coulson on ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
According to Marvel.com, where the brand broke the news, the actress will play the head of a group working on the same thing Phil Coulson’s team is working on – tracking down Inhumans. And the two groups’ paths will cross.
“When casting this role, we needed someone that could go toe-to-toe with Coulson,” Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb said in a statement. “Constance brings a level of wit and spark to the role we could have only dreamed of, and we’re beyond excited to add her to our already stellar cast going into the new season.”
