Christina Applegate On Motherhood, Having More Kids

Christina Applegate’s first child is almost 2-and-a-half years old, so is the actress ready to give daughter Sadie a little brother or sister?

“I’m 41 years old and I don’t know if I could do the whole like, not sleeping thing again,” the former “Up All Night” star — who launches her second pink Breast Cancer Awareness collection with ASICS America benefitting her Right Action For Women Foundation (which provides aid to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer and do not have insurance or the financial flexibility to cover the high costs associated with breast screenings) –told Billy Bush and guest co-host Holly Robinson Peete on Thursday’s Access Hollywood Live. “If I was 35, then maybe I’d have the energy but there’s just, like, when I get up it hurts… Wait a couple of years and I’d be almost pushing 45… really? With like, a newborn? I don’t know.”

Adding, “Some people can do it and I say, ‘Hats off to you.’ But that’s just how I feel right now. Sadie’s a very big ball of energy.”

Christina, 41, married longtime love Martyn LeNoble in February and she said her husband does want to add to their family, but he’s also concerned about the energy required for parenthood.

“I think we both want to make another Sadie,” she said. “We watch this little person and she’s so perfect and she enhances our life so much that you go, God – how could we not to produce more of these? But he’s 44.

“We’re both kind of like, eh, we’re a little old and we don’t know,” she added.

Christina will soon be seen in “Anchorman: The Legend Continues,” reprising her role as Veronica Corningstone.

However, the actress played coy on how many star cameos fans can expect to see in the movie.

“It’s so much bigger than you guys even understand. If they cut this whole movie together it would be four-and-a-half hours, what we shot – there’s so much,” she said, adding, “I can’t tell you anything. All I can tell you is that there are big events throughout the whole, and many cast members.”
