The “Green Lantern” reboot is still five years away (not debuting until 2020!) but casting rumors are already swirling and it involves more than one member of the Lantern Corps!
Collider and Latino Review are reporting that Warner Bros. is considering having multiple Corps members including Hal Jordan (the most popular Lantern and the focus of the 2011 film), Guy Gardner and John Stewart (who both followed Hal in the comics).
“Star Trek’s” Chris Pine is being thrown around as a possible Hal Jordan.

Additionally, “Fast & Furious” star Tyrese (who has been very vocal on social media about his desire to slip on a Lantern ring) posted a possibly telling photo on Instagram on Wednesday.

“S**t just got real #doubleoath #doubletrouble #GreenLantern #WB#VoltronPictures,” he captioned a shot of two Lanterns who look a lot like Chris Pine and Tyrese decked out in green costumes.

“Green Lantern” is still years away, but many wonder if the character will appear in the upcoming “Justice League” movies, which debut in 2017 and 2019.
Warner Bros. has yet to announce any official casting news about “Green Lantern,” but with Comic-Con just weeks away there could be something very soon!
