CeeLo Green has made his exit – for good – from NBC’s “The Voice.”
The “Voice” coach made his announcement on Wednesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“I’m going to continue my relationship with NBC. I have a television show development deal with them and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year. But yeah, I’m going to miss ‘The Voice’ too. I’m not coming back guys,” the 39-year-old singer explained.

CeeLo and Christina Aguilera have rotated positions with Usher and Shakira in the show’s spinning red chairs, but this time around, he won’t return.
“Oh, you’re not coming back at all?” Ellen asked.
“I’m not coming back at all,” he said. “I just don’t want to wear out my welcome there. You know what I’m saying. I have so many other things that I want to do. I haven’t released an album in four years. I’m almost done with my album.”
“The Voice” Season 6 premiere debuts on February 24 at 8/7c.
