Surprise! Cardi B is going to be a mom of three.
The hip-hop superstar announced her pregnancy in a heartwarming Instagram post on Aug. 1. Cardi cradled her growing belly in a pair of glamorous photos and reflected on this important time in her life with a thoughtful caption, alluding to her split from husband Offset.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!” she wrote in part.
The 31-year-old also appeared to address her baby-to-be, sharing how grateful and inspired she is to keep embracing all of life’s ups and downs as she enters a new chapter of motherhood.
“I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” she concluded.
Fans flocked to the comment section with congrats and well-wishes, with many sharing that they’d already suspected the rapper was expanding her family.
