“Captain Marvel” is on the way.
Tonight, during halftime on the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles Game, “Captain Marvel’s” second trailer will make its debut. The game is airing on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” beginning at 5:15 PT/8:15 ET.
“Captain Marvel” stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel.
The new film is set more than two decades before the “Avengers” film.
Samuel L. Jackson, whose character famously sent a page (using a pager) for Captain Marvel at the end of the latest “Avengers” movie, co-stars in the upcoming 1995-set movie.
Other cast members include Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Gemma Chan and Clark Gregg, who appears as Agent Phil Coulson.
“Captain Marvel” hits theaters on March 8, 2019.
