Brad Pitt On Why He Missed George Clooney’s Wedding & If He Sent A Wedding Gift

George Clooney’s wedding to Amal Alamuddin was a star-studded affair, with many of George’s famous friends on hand in Italy for the big day.

Noticeably absent from the festivities, however, was George’s longtime friend Brad Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie.

So where exactly was Brad?

“We were filming in Malta,” Brad told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the premiere of his new film, “Fury,” confirming earlier reports that he and Angelina couldn’t escape work while filming their new romantic drama “By The Sea” on location in Malta.

As for what Brad – who plays a tough-as-nails Army sergeant in “Fury” – sent his good buddy George as a wedding present? Silverware? Monogrammed towels?

“I still owe him something,” he smiled.

“Fury,” which also stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Scott Eastwood, Jon Bernthal and Michael Pena, hits theaters on October 17.
