Two days after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub, the Houston family has released an update on the 21-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston.
“Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family,” the Houston family said in a statement on Monday.
“As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time,” the statement continued. “Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.”

On Sunday, her father, Bobby Brown, released a statement.
“Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time,” the singer said.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, police and rescue personnel responded to a 911 call at Bobbi’s Atlanta home at 10:25 AM on Saturday after her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found her unresponsive in the tub, Roswell Police said in a statement. Gordon performed CPR until officials arrived. Rescue personnel then took over life-saving measures and transported her to Atlanta’s North Fulton Hospital.
In a press conference on Saturday afternoon, Officer Lisa Holland of the Roswell Police Department said HIPAA laws prevented her from revealing details about Bobbi’s condition, but shared that she was “still alive.”
