Bindi Irwin Announced As First ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Contestant

“Dancing with the Star” is going Down Under for its first contestant for Season 21.

 

Bindi Irwin, the 17-year-old daughter of the late “The Crocodile Hunter” star Steve Irwin, was the first name announced in the upcoming race for ballroom glory.

“I am unbelievably thrilled and truly blessed to be in the City of Angels to be part of this season of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ This will be a completely new adventure for me and I’m excited to share my journey. Life is about daring to dream, I’m in love with this city and ready to fall in love with the music and dance to come,” she said in a post on Instagram.

In a separate post she said, “G’day, I’m Bindi and I’m so excited Season 21 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’… I can’t wait to see what’s yet to come.”
