Beyoncé Smiles With Madonna In Rare Photo Alongside Daughter Rumi Backstage At Renaissance Tour

When icons meet icons! Beyoncé welcomed a fellow legend to a recent stop on her Renaissance Tour.

Madonna caught the blockbuster show in New Jersey on Sunday and brought her 10-year-old twin girls, Stella and Estere, and older daughter Mercy, 17, along for the experience. The “Express Yourself” singer raved over the concert in a series of photos on her Instagram story and thanked Queen Bey for her “magnificent” performance.

“My daughters were enthralled! We love you!” Madonna captioned one snap, which showed a special shoutout she received from Beyoncé herself.

The superstar’s stage lit up with the words “Queen Mother Madonna” in giant letters, and fan video captured Bey acknowledging the Material Girl mid-song.

“Big shoutout to the queen,” she said in the clip, while belting her hit song “Break My Soul.”

Adding, “Queen Mother Madonna, we love you.”

Bey and Madge took the mutual admiration backstage, where they posed for a group pic alongside their respective girls including Beyoncé’s younger daughter, Rumi. The 5-year-old stood in front of her famous mom and next to Madonna for the rare sighting as Stella, Estere and Mercy looked on with smiles.

The Material Girl’s recent outing comes weeks after fans were left concerned over news of a health scare. Guy Oseary, Madonna’s longtime manager, issued a statement on June 28 confirming that she had been hospitalized “for a several day stay in the ICU” and was expected to make a full recovery.

Madonna, 64, spoke out about her condition for the first time days later, thanking Instagram followers for their “positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement” as she continues to rest and recuperate.

“I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote, assuring fans that she’ll be back on stage “as soon” as she can while she maintains focus on her health and “getting stronger.”

Madonna’s Celebration tour was set to kick off in Vancouver on July 15. New North America dates are said to be in the process of rescheduling, with the European leg now kicking off in October.
