The ongoing divorce proceedings between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are reportedly getting complicated.
According to TMZ, Hoppy, 41, has filed divorce papers three weeks after the reality star/talk show host/Skinnygirl creator filed and he has many of the same requests that Frankel asked for.
Hoppy is reportedly asking for primary custody of their 2-year-old daughter Bryn, which Frankel, 42, has requested.
He is also reportedly asking for child support from his soon-to-ex, which she is also asking for from him.
Additionally, Hoppy is reportedly requesting that Frankel pay for his and their daughter’s medical and dental expenses – just as she asked of him in her divorce petition.
According to the site, Hoppy also requested that the TV star maintain her life insurance, keeping himself and their daughter as the beneficiaries – similar to her reported request.
He is also reportedly asking that he get “exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence,” which is a $5 million, four-bedroom apartment in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood and was featured on the last season of Bravo’s “Bethenny Ever After.”
TMZ also reported that the businessman is also requesting that she pay his lawyer and account fees.
Frankel’s Skinnygirl fortune is reportedly not at stake as they had a prenuptial agreement prior to their 2010 marriage.
Earlier this month Frankel opened up about the split during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres show, saying, “I feel like a failure. I really put it out there — I wanted the fairytale, I thought I had it. And [my daughter] Bryn is my fairytale… but I don’t know how people go through [divorce] because this is excruciating.”
