‘Bachelor’ Chris Soules Ready To Have Kids With ‘Soulmate’ Whitney

Chris Soules proposed to Whitney Bischoff on last night’s “The Bachelor” finale, and the farmer is confident he made the right decision.

“She was the person I could see myself with,” he told People. “Whitney is my soulmate. It became even more clear at the end. It just felt right.”

And the couple – who have been together since the finale taped in November 2014 – is itching to start their family.

“I’m ready to be a dad,” he told the mag. “I’m 33. I think I’m past due!”

Whitney, a fertility nurse, has yet to move to Chris’ hometown (Arlington, Iowa), but said she plans to soon.

“I’m relieved that this is over,” the 29-year-old bride-to-be said. “I’m looking forward to the life that we’re going to start. I think a lot of great things are going to happen.”

Will the two be walking down the aisle anytime soon?

“I don’t think you can put a time limit on something like that,” Whitney said, of when wedding plans will begin. “When we feel it, it will happen.”
